Peace poster contest gets huge response

Bachupalli: Lions Club International and Sadguru School of Arts jointly organised ‘Peace Poster Contest’, a painting competition at VRSVJ Residential School here on Friday.  A large number of students from different schools participated in the painting competition. Chairman of Pragathi Lions Club, Bachupally Sathyavolu Rambabu and Dr MRS Raju took special interest in organising this event. 

Around 5,000 students participated in this painting competition. Representatives of Vishwa Guru said that competition created a new “Vishwa Guru World Record.” Hundred candidates would be shortlisted for pre-finals to be conducted on November 5 at the same venue, organisers said. Lions Governor Bandaru Prabhakar, former Governor and former Chairman Mummareddy Premkumar, Vice-Governor Manoj Purohith, MRK Reddy, Bhaskar Rao, Dr Mahesh Pagadala, TROY advisor Muni Shekhar, school principal Vijaya Rani, Vishwa Guru representatives Ravicharan, Ella Subba Reddy, Prasad Naidu, Swapna, Pujitha and others graced the event.
