40 liquor bottles seized in Tandur

Tandur: Police seized 40 quarter bottles and two full bottles of liquor from a person here on Thursday. On a tip off, police reached Bhadrappa Temple where the bootlegger was waiting with his stock. He tried to flee the spot after seeing police and was finally apprehended. The person was identified as Kishtaiah of Narayanpur village. The liquor was seized from him, and a case has been filed, said Circle Inspector K Prathapalingam.
