Kutami leaders complain to CEO over money distribution

Hyderabad: The People’s Front leaders have complained to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) on Thursday that the ruling party leaders have been distributing money and other enticements through media and ambulance vehicles. Telugu Desam party (TDP) president L Ramana, Congress leaders V Hanumantha Rao and G Niranjan, and others have submitted the memorandum to the CEO.  

In the memorandum they said that few days ago in Madhira Constituency where TPCC campaign committee chairman Mallu Batti Vikramarka is contesting, few persons were caught carrying money to bribe the voters and no action has been taken by the concerned police authorities so far. 

They said that the media channels headed by (indirectly or directly) by the TRS Party leaders have been carrying money in their media vehicles. Not only the vehicles of press and media but also 108 ambulances have been used. 

They requested the CEO to direct the police to stop electronic media vehicles particularly T Channel and print media vehicles particularly Namasthe Telangana and check the vehicles in the presence of cadre of the opposition parties so as to know the corrupt practices of the ruling TRS.
