Rs 2 lakh fine for pumping out waste

Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner M Dana Kishore and Zonal Commissioner Musharaf Ali, along with senior officials of various wings of GHMC and HMWS&SB, inspected some of the areas of the Khairtabad Zone.During the inspection, Dana found that one of the corporate hospitals, Apollo Hospital at Film Nagar, is pumping out waste water on the main roads causing damage to the roads that were laid recently. 

Dana expressed anger over the issue and directed the zonal commissioner to issue notice to the concerned hospital and to impose a fine of Rs 2 lakh for the irregularities and causing inconvenience to the traffic and citizens of the area.
