Play games to relax your mind: Collector to disabled

Nalgonda: District Collector Gaurav Uppal advised physically challenged people to play games of their choice and ability to relax themselves from their routine life. On Friday, on the occasion of World Disabled Day, along with MLA Bhupal Reddy he launched sports and games at Mekala Abhinav Stadium in the town.

Addressing the gathering, he said games not only give fitness but enhances our character through sportsmanship. He advised the disabled people to spare some time to sports and games to relieve themselves from mental tensions in daily life and to prepare to reach out targeted goals.

He advised the disabled to utilize the available resources in  DRDA. MLA Bhupal Reddy assured to address all the issues pertaining to physically challenged people. As many as 200 physically challenged persons took part in the games and sports enthusiastically. 

In this programme,  DRDA PD Shekar Reddy, ICDS regional coordinator M Shranya Reddy, women and child  and disabled welfare officer Krishnaveni , District Sports and Youth Welfare Officer  Md Maqbul Ahmed, DEO Sarojini Devi, SGF secretary Nagireddy and others were participated.
