Celebrating art

The State Gallery of Art in Hyderabad, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary, inaugurated an art camp and art exhibition in which 25 artists are taking part. More than 237 artists are displaying their works in the camp, which will conclude on February 2. The exhibits include paintings, sculptures, photographs and works of late Kusuma Prabakar, who is the only "Fellow of The Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain" from Telangana.

Chief guest SK Joshi, IAS, Chief Secretary to Government of Telangana, B Venkatesham, IAS, Secretary to Govt., YAT & C (Tourism) Dept.,  presided over the programme at which many art lovers were present. He announced that the 2nd edition  of All India Art Competition and Exhibition would be held from 1st to 10th June 2019.  Application form and details will be available on the website from 5th February 2019.
