Bhadrachalam: Collector MV Reddy reviews preparations for Bramothsavalu

Bhadrachalam: District Collector MV Reddy has directed the temple officials to make a plan for the arrangements for the conduct of Bramothsavalu of Lord Rama (Sri Rama Navami festival).

After the taking charge, District Collector MV Reddy has visited the temple town Bhadrachalam on Sunday. Earlier in the day he visited the Integrated Tribal Development Office (ITDA). He was welcomed by the ITDA officials. Later he visited Lord Rama temple and offered special prayers.

He conducted a meeting with the temple Executive Officer G Narsimihulua and Assistant Executive Officer Sravan Kumar and temple Engineer V Ravinder. He told them that there are 40 days left for the conduct of the Bramothsavalu here in the historical temple of Lord Rama.

He said, make to do start arrangements for the festival immediately. He said, the main festival during the Bramothsavalu will conduct on April 2 celestial wedding of Lord Rama consort Sita.

The Bromothasavalu will commence on March 25 (Telugu New Year) and concluded on April 8, he informed.

A large number of devotees from Telangana and other neighbouring State will come to witness the Lord Rama Kalyanam, he said.

Collector asked them to coordinate with all departments and arrange elaborate arrangements for the festival. He also discussed with the officers arrangements of drinking water and temporary toilets for the festival.

He said, in view of summer days arrange temporary sheds and public taps, water supply tankers in the town.

The Chief Minister, Governor and State and Central Ministers and MLA, MPs will attended the festival.

He also told the temple officials to conduct meetings with the Panchyat and Rural Water Scheme officers for above arrangements.

He asked the temple officers to send proposals for the festival and meet again to discuss the arrangements.

Later Collector MV Reddy inspected the temple premises and Godavari river premises and Kalyanmandapam premises.
