Gajwel: CM K Chandrashekar Rao all set to spruce up home turf
Gajwel: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao proposes to change the profile of his constituency Gajwel and make it a model constituency. He aims at providing free two-bedroom houses to homeless poor. He also called upon Health Minister Eatela Rajendra to launch the health profile scheme from here.
Interacting with the local people during his visit to the constituency after inaugurating the Telangana Forest College and Horticulture University, the Chief Minister said health profile has proved to be of great use in developed countries particularly during emergencies like accidents.
The health card will have details like the blood group of the card holder and other details like whether he is diabetic or has any other chronic diseases. He said based on the study of the outcome of the pilot project, it will be extended to the entire state. He also promised to visit the constituency soon and spend one full day with them trying to understand their needs and address grievances.
He said arrangements were being made to bring water from Kaleshwaram both for the purpose of drinking and irrigation needs of the constituency from January. He also said one of the biggest water reservoirs in the country Mallannasagar will be promoted as tourism centre and also take up afforestation in a big way in his segment soon.
