Get ready for LS polls, Talasani tells TRS cadre
West Marredpally: Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, here on Sunday, called upon the TRS party activists to get ready for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections that are just over three weeks away.
Addressing a meeting of corporators of the Sanathnagar constituency and party leaders near his residence here, Yadav advised them to work unitedly with the inspiration from the success achieved in the Assembly polls.
He wanted them to take up an intensive campaign in colonies and localities.
The Minister asserted that the party would honour its promises made during the Assembly elections, while recalling the progress achieved and the welfare schemes implemented across the State during the last five years.
He urged the TRS activists to bring to his notice any problem that they face for redressal.
In his address, Yadav laid stress on the steps to solve the issue of water shortage during summer.
He stated that after the Lok Sabha polls, a comprehensive plan would be prepared for the development of the Sanathnagar constituency.
He pledged to undertake 'padayatras' every Saturday and Sunday in colonies and localities and make himself available in the constituency to all sections of people, besides party men.
Corporators Athili Aruna Goud, Kolan Lakshmi, Akula Rupa, Uppala Taruni, Hemalata, party division president Gurram Kumar Goud, Akbar, Satyanarayana Yadav, Khaleel and Lakshmipati were present on the occasion.
