Peddapalli: Former MLA and Kisan Congress national vice-chairman Kodanda Reddy alleged that several mistakes took place in land records regularisation, taken up by the State government and the government utterly failed in issuing passbooks to eligible farmers.

Kisan Congress representatives on Thursday conducted a survey on land records regularisation in Bittupalli, Gaddelapalli and Muttaram mandals of Manthani constituency of Peddapalli district.

After interacting with the farmers, Kodanda Reddy said the State government's Rythu Bandhu scheme is for big farmers only, not for small farmers, who are actually involved in the process of cultivation of various crops.

He stated that the government took initiation for land regularisation, but after knowing the irregularities that took place in the revenue department, it wants to dissolve the revenue department.

The farmers and revenue staff were worried with the decision of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to dissolve revenue system.

The government must issue passbooks to all the eligible farmers as early as possible along with implementing Rythu Bandhu scheme, he demanded.

Like the Congress that distributed land to many poor people across the State in the united Andhra Pradesh, the TRS government also sanction passbooks to such poor families, Kodanda Reddy he demanded.
