Green gram purchase centre inaugurated

Tandur: MP Ranjith Reddy, MLC Mahender Reddy, and MLA Rohit Reddy inaugurated the green gram purchasing centre set up at DCMS office here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, they said farmers should sell their produce at the centres set up by the government and thus save themselves from middlemen. They said the price per quintal is Rs 7,000.

The leaders assured that purchasing centres for other produces would also be set up in future. ZPTCs Manjula, Dharasingh, MPPs Balesh Gupta, Anitha Goud, DCMS manager Shareef were present.
