Hyderabad: 2BHK housing project works completed

Hyderabad: As part of 2BHK scheme, the GHMC has completed the works of 288 housing units at a total cost of about Rs 25 crore at Erukala Nancharamma Nagar at Mansoorabad in LB Nagar Assembly constituency. Out of the 288 houses, 154 have been already allotted to the beneficiaries.

The 9-storey building blocks are laden with infrastructure facilities like cement concrete roads, underground drainage system, external water supply (HMWS&SB), external electrification (TSSPDCL), 5 elevators (with capacity of 8 people), two-wheeler parking space for each flat, three rain water harvesting pits and a green lawn. Two building blocks also has the provision for 18 shops. Besides these, the residents have amenities like primary health centre, bus stop, school, transportation facilities and a graveyard.

Mayor Bonthu Rammohan informed that for each flat, the government spent around Rs 8.65 lakh shared by Telangana government Rs 6.40 lakh and the remaining was borne by Central government. Besides this, the State government also spent Rs 75,000 for each flat, for provision of basic amenities on a total of 1.34 acre of land.
