Hyderabad: Foundation laid for 6 theme parks
Hyderabad: In order to provide healthy environment to the citizens, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is developing 50 theme parks at an estimated cost of Rs 123 crore in the city, said Mayor Dr Bonthu Rammohan. He along with MLA Bethi Subash Reddy laid foundation stone for development works of six theme parks in Kapra Circle. The cost of the works is estimated to be Rs 16.30 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that different designs of theme parks were being developed for the benefit for all age groups. "These designs are taken up from the big cities like Delhi and Bangalore. The theme parks will have all facilities like space for yoga practice, walking track and open gym. The maintenance and protection of theme parks would be under Resident Welfare Associations of respective areas," he added.
