Hyderabad: Kind gesture to the needy
Hyderabad: Yashoda Foundation, a voluntary organisation based in Tarnaka, has been helping migrant labourers and orphans by providing grocery kits and face masks during this lockdown period.
Naveen Kumar Barpathi, CEO of Yashoda Foundation, said that. "Around 130 volunteers are supporting the mission and we have distributed 1,500 kg grocery kits that included rice, sugar, dal and wheat to around 250 slum dwellers in Addagutta, Lalapet, Tukaram gate, Uppal and Manikeswar Nagar. We distributed ration kits to 20 sanitary workers and to a woman shelter home at Uppal. Apart from this, we distributed more than 700 face masks to various orphanages in the city," he added.
