Hyderabad: In order to avert flooding of colonies in East Anandbagh with storm waters coming from Banda Cheruvu, Mayor Bonthu Rammohan during his visit to East Anandbagh on Thursday informed that the nalas passing through the area would be diverted.
The Mayor inspected a Railway Under Bridge (RuB) being constructed at a cost of Rs 40 crore. He directed the contractor to complete the work at the earliest by increasing the number of workers from the present 80 to about 200.
He called upon officials of different wings to help in speeding of the work by relocating any hindrances like transformers and poles.
Once the RuB is opened it would facilitate smooth commuting of hundreds of vehicles.
