Karthika Jatara concludes at Vikarabad

Vikarabad: The Karthika Jatara of Sri Ananatha Padmanabha Swamy concluded here on Friday. The 15-day festivities ended with 'Chakra Snanam'. The Lord took shower in the 'Pushkarini,' the holy pond. Devotees in large numbers offered special prayers to the Lord.

Women prayed at amla tree and redeemed their vows. Family members of temple founder trustee N Padmanabham, endowment officer Sekhar Goud thanked staff of revenue, police, municipal, medical, electrical and other departments for their cooperation in making the event a success.
