Khammam: Clear pending demands says TNGO leaders
Khammam: The district leaders and members of the Telangana Non-Government Officers (TNGOs) Association have observed 'All India Demands Day' and staged a demonstration at the Collectorate here on Thursday.
The 'Demands Day' was observed following a call given by the All India State Government Employees' Federation, demanding the Central and State governments to address their various pending demands.
The TNGOs Association district president P Raja Rao addressing the meeting, they urged the governments to stop implementing anti-employees' policies. The employees have been demanding continuation of old pension scheme, increase income tax exemption limit and announce Interim Relief.
In addition, issues like PRC, equal pay for equal work, regularisation of contract and outsourcing employees were also pending to be addressed, the leaders said. The governments have to address the employees' just demands immediately, stated Raja Rao.
TNGOs Association district secretary G Balakrishna, leaders B Venkateswar Rao, Kodi Lingaiah, Valloji Srinivas, Durga Prasad, Ramana Yadav and others participated in the protest.
