Open nala poses grave threat to motorists

Beeramguda: It has been a couple of months since the nala walls were collapsed, near Mandal revenue office, RC Puram to new Sai Bhagwan Colony. The locals alleged that in spite of multiple complaints, the GHMC does not care to re-construct the permanent wall risking the lives of locals commuting from there.

Srikanth Reddy, a resident, shared, "The bridge to cross the nala is very narrow. At a time, vehicles from one side only can pass through. Because of which vehicles on the other side have to wait, after the bridge was collapsed it's difficult for vehicles to wait as the lane is very narrow and any motorist can lose his balance and can fall in the nala."

"It is difficult to spot the nala at night as there is no proper street light in the lane. After many representations, the GHMC workers put up a barricade and wire fencing to make aware motorists. We appreciate the arrangements done but we still are waiting for a permanent solution here."
