RTC JAC differs with CM's statements
Hyderabad: RTC JAC has demanded Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to give clarity on non-sense and useless demands put forward by the unions representing all the staff in the public transport.
It also advised chief minister to take an inspiration from States that decided to merge RTC with the government instead of looking at States which did not do it.
Reacting to chief minister's statements after the Cabinet meeting held on Saturday, K Hanumanthu of RTC JAC said that they would hold a meeting on Sunday morning and come out with their future course of action in wake of government's fresh stand.
He wanted to know whether the striking staff would join unconditionally if Rao warned them.
He said that the RTC unions are not different entities and they are not putting forward other demands different from what employees are fighting for all these days.
Whether the reduction of tax on diesel or procuring new buses for the convenience of people were all their justified demands, he stressed.
With regard to 44 per cent fitment, the JAC leader said that the earlier Congress government itself announced 27 per cent. The chief minister had added another 17 per cent to make it 44 per cent finally, he pointed out.
