Sangareddy: Pattana Pragathi drive held in Sadashivpet
Sangareddy: Municipalities are on the path of development with the active participation of people, Finance Minister Harish Rao said. As part of the three day 'Palle Pragathi' programme in Sadashivpeta on Tuesday, he toured 6th and 16th wards and met the people and enquired about their issues. He called upon everyone to work hard to keep the town clean. He assured that the water problem in the town would soon be solved.
Rao said that funds for central lighting in the town would be sanctioned for a stretch for 2.6 km. "We have given Rs 1 crore for the construction of town hall," he informed. The minister directed officials to set right if there were any cables or wires hanging in the town. He said the construction of a community hall for women would be completed with a budget of Rs 15 lakh. He asked everyone to strive for a garbage-free town. District Collector Hanumantha Rao, municipal chairperson Jayamma, vice-chairman Gopal and former MLA Chintha Prabhakar and in-charge Collector Rajesh Shah and others were present.
