Secunderabad: Deputy Speaker T Padma Rao Goud said that several measures are being taken by the state government to provide better medical services to poor. He was speaking at a programme organized at his camp office here to distribute CM Relief Fund cheques to beneficiaries on Friday. Padma Rao Goud handed over CMRF Letter of Credit (LOC) documents worth Rs 15 lakh to five beneficiaries.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that financial assistance provided under CMRF had become a boon to poor in the context of huge costs involved in modern medical treatment. He said that several poor got benefitted by the financial assistance and were getting modern treatment in corporate hospitals. He thanked the CM KCR and CM office for their cooperation in providing the financial assistance to poor people in his constituency.
