Social status no bar to become PCC chief: Jagga Reddy

Hyderabad: Congress MLA T Jagga Reddy on Wednesday said that any leader of the party was eligible to become president of the Pradesh Congress Committee irrespective of their social background. Speaking to the press persons informally, Jagga Reddy said that there was no discrimination in the party on lines of richness or poverty.

Leaders of BCs could become PCC president and V Hanumantha Rao, who hails from BCs, is eligible. He said that Damodara Raja Narasimha and Bhatti Vikramarka, who belong to SC community, are also eligible to become PCC chiefs.
