SSC 2020: Students in Telangana can appear for advanced supplementary exams as regular

SSC students who could not attend the exams scheduled from June 8 due to the prevailing coronavirus situation in the state can appear for advanced supplementary examinations, Telangana government told the High Court.

This comes after the court warned the government to stay the exams if it did not give a chance to students to appear for supplementary examinations. Confirming it, the Telangana State Board of Secondary Education said that the students who are unable to appear for the SSC exams scheduled from June 8 to July 5 due to the coronavirus situation can appear for advanced supplementary which will be held at a later stage.

The board also clarified that such students will be considered as regular candidates and is applicable for only this academic year.

On Friday, Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan and Justice B Vijaysen Reddy bench told the government to permit the students those who are not unable attend the upcoming exams to write the supplementary exams that are likely to be held in August or September.
