Telangana municipal elections 2020 live updates: 75% polling recorded till 5pm
Polling for municipal elections underway across Telangana except in Karimnagar. The elections in Karimnagar will be held on January 25.
The polling is being held in 7,961 polling stations. As many as 83 wards were declared unanimous out of the total 2,971 wards in municipalities and corporations. The counting of votes will take place on January 25 and the results will be declared on the same day.
Choutuppal recorded 93.31 per cent polling
Pochampally recorded 92.51 per cent polling
Adibhatla municipality records 90.27 per cent polling
Average polling percentage of total 120 Municipalities and 9 Municipal Corporations by 3 PM is 67.46 per cent. Polling percentage in Dabeerpura by 3 PM is 20.21 per cent.
