Will give boost to Dindi seed development centre: Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy
Gundalpally (Nalgonda): Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy assured to convert the seed development centre of Dindi into a modern model centre. The Minister visited the seed development centre run by agriculture department at Dindi in the district on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister stated that the centre was neglected in the past and promised to develop it into a model seed centre to cater to the needs of farmers of Nalgonda and Mahbubnagar district as it is located between the two districts. Minister ordered the officials to provide water throughout the year through micro irrigation methods at the seed development centre.
Meanwhile, Gundalapaly (Dindi) MPTC-1 Radhika urged the Minister to take initiation to release GO for release of water to Dindi project every year, to establish a Agriculture university in Dindi and CCS centre in the interest of cotton farmers of this region.
The official also submitted a memorandum in this regard to the Minister. Devarakonda MLA R Ravindra Kumar, State seed corporation chairman Koteshwar Rao, seed development corporation chairman Keshavulu, officials, farmers and TRS local leaders were present.
