Arrangements for Group 2 screening test reviewed

Kurnool: District Collector S Satyanarayana has conducted a review meeting with officials concerned at Sunaina Auditorium here on Friday, for smooth conduct of screening test in offline mode for Group 2 posts on May 5.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that around 30,075 applicants are appearing for the screening test. 82 exam centres were set up in the district including 56 in Kurnool, 5 in Panyam and 21 in Nandyal. The Collector stated District Revenue Officer (DRO) would be the coordinator, 23 tahsildars as liaison officers and 82 deputy tahsildars assistant liaison officers for screening test.

Officials were instructed to ensure all facilities for candidates appearing for screening test like drinking water and uninterrupted power supply at exam centres. Satyanarayana advised aspirants to be present at exam centres before 9.45 am. The two-and-a-half hours exam will conclude at 12.30 noon.

The applicants, who did not receive the hall tickets, can download from the APPSC website, said APPSC assistant secretary Kumar Raja. He further said that a help desk with a phone number will be set up at the Collectorate. The APPSC staff were also present.
