Awareness session on loans begins in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: Krishna District Collector Mohammad Imtiaz inaugurated a two-day awareness programme on various central and State government loans and welfare schemes for the beneficiaries belonging to the minority community here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the District Collector said that the central and the state governments were providing various schemes and loans to the people belonging to the minority community for their uplifting them financially.
He said that the government would release loans for the SCs, STs, BCs, Minorities, Kapu, Brahmin corporations and the beneficiaries should make the best use of the opportunity. Through this awareness programme, the beneficiaries can know about the various schemes and how they can avail them.
AP Productive Council Executive Director Srinivas Raghu said the loans provided by the government would enable the beneficiaries to contribute for the financial self-reliance of society.Minority beneficiaries, women and others participated in good number.
