Collector inspects Civils exam centre in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: District Collector Mohammad Imtiaz inspected the conduct of the Civil Services mains examinations at SRR and CVR Government College here on Friday.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, the Collector said that the examinations were being conducted peacefully. He said that 137 candidates appeared for the examination out of the 140 candidates.
They arranged the entire infrastructure for the examinations which would conclude on September 29. The UPSC central observer NR Rajeswara Rao, College Principal Dr Velaga Joshi, Tahsildar Vasu and others were present. He informed that special arrangements were made to monitor the civil services main exams from the Collector's camp office in Vijayawada.
He said that Tahsildar B Suguna, Deputy Tahsildar P Vykuntha Rao, Senior Assistants M Madhusudhan Rao and S Suresh were in the Control Room to convey all the updates of the examinations to the UPSC higher officials.
