Exam for posts in village, ward secretariats held peacefully in Chittoor dist

Tirupati: The examination for the recruitment of village and wards secretariats, was held here on Sunday morning and evening sessions peacefully by the district administration. Altogether, 1,00,409 candidates have written the examinations in two spells morning and evening.

Totally 93.4 % attendance was recorded in both the examinations and 7,301 candidates were absent in both the sessions. All the roads in the town were packed with candidates and their vehicles. Even mondal headquarters are also witnessed heavy turnout to two spells of village and ward secretariat examinations.

Many parents and relatives of the candidates were seen at outside of the examination centers on Sunday from morning to evening. Chittoor Collector N Bharat Gupta and Joint Collector Markandeyulu have inspected various examination centres randomly in the district.

Collector Gupta visited many centres in Madanapalli division such as Palamaneru, Bireddy Palli and Kuppam towns . Totally 380 examination centres covering 41 mandals were arranged.

District administration has made all the required arrangements in terms of police bandobust, appointment of invigilators, drinking water and other facilities at the examination centres.

Similarly, District Joint Collector Markandeyulu visited the centres at Karvetinagaram and Puttur town and Sub-Collector Kirti, Tirupati RDO Kanaka Narsa Reddy inspected various centres in Madanapalli and Tirupati.

MCT Commissioner PS Girisha als inspected many examination centres in Tirupati like SPJNM School, Padmavathi Girls High School and SVU Campus school. Joint Collector 2 Chandramouli coordinated the examination arrangements from collectorate control room.

Tirupati Urban District SP KKN Anburajan and Chittoor District SP Ch Venkata Appala Naidu supervised the village secretariats examination security arrangement and deployed police personnel at examination centres.

And they allowed candidates into centres after checking the candidates. Officials acted strictly in the centres and mobile phones and other electronic devices were not allowed into examination centres.
