Ruia Hospital to get medical equipment worth 1.5 crore

Tirupati: The District Collector Bharat Gupta has said that a decision was taken to procure medical equipment for Ruia Hospital worth Rs.1.5 crore. With the coordinated efforts of Municipal Corporation, the water problem in Ruia Hospital will be resolved. He chaired a meeting of Ruia and Maternity Hospital Development Committee in Tirupati on Wednesday. The Collector has said that it was decided to conduct the hospital development committee meeting during third week of every month.

The MP B Durgaprasada Rao who participated in the meeting has called upon the doctors to discharge their duties to fulfil the expectations of the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that the meeting was fruitful which has found solutions for several long pending issues.

The MP has assured the doctors to provide better amenities and the required staff will be provided by taking it to the notice of the government. Tirupati MLA B Karunakar Reddy has congratulated the doctors and other staff for discharging their duties with dedication during the Covid-19 pandemic. Municipal Corporation Commissioner PS Girisha, Ruia and Maternity hospital superintendents Dr T Bharati and Dr Chandra Sekhar, SV Medical College Principal Dr C Jaya Bhaskar, APMSIDC DE Dhananjaya Reddy, hospital working committee chairman B Chandrasekhar, DM&HO Dr M Penchalaiah, other HoDs and doctors participated in the meeting.
