SP gives away cheques to the kin of police personnel in Kurnool
Kurnool: The Superintendent of Police (SP), Dr Fakkeerappa Kaginelli gave away cheques to the families of the deceased police personnel on Thursday. He said the safety cheques will be of great support to the families of the police personnel who have died while discharging duties or on the grounds of ill health.
Bharati, wife of deceased constable A Prudvi Raj, was given a cheque worth Rs.3.97 lakhs, Rathnamma wife of head constable T Raja Gopal, was given Rs.4 lakhs cheque and Jayamma, wife of barber Ramudu, a fourth class employee, was issued a cheque of Rs.3.95 lakhs.
The Additional Superintendent of Police, M Deepika Patil organised police welfare day at Ved Vyas Auditorium. Addressing on the occasion, Deepika Patil has said that necessary care will be taken for the welfare of district police.
She said basing on the education and taking seniority into consideration junior assistant placement would be given. The District Police Office (DPO) police personnel if have any problem, can directly contact SP or ASP to seek solution.
Administrative Officer (AO) Suresh Babu, Reserve Inspector, Rama Krishna, Krishnuru, Nagaraju, Farooq, and the family members of retired and deceased police personnel attended the programme.
