Tirupati: Deputy Chief Minister K Naryana Swamy says government collecting feedback to see benefits reach more people
Tirupati: Deputy Chief Minister K Naryana Swamy said that to elicit the people's views on the functioning of government, the officials are conducting "Mana Palana-Mee Suchana" workshop for five days.
Participating as chief guest in 'Mana Palana-Mee Suchana' inaugural session at S V University here on Monday, he said that the government was collecting views of people to facilitate the benefits of schemes to reach more targeted sections. He added the government had successfully implemented partial prohibition on alcohol sales as well as curbs on the black marketing of sand in the state in the one year.
During the five-day workshop session, officials would elicit the views of beneficiaries and report to the government, he added.
Later, addressing the officials, TUDA Chairman and Chandragiri MLA Chevi Reddy Bhaskar Reddy said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has been working continuously to upgrade the living standards of poor. As part of it, Jagananna Ammavadi, Vidyadivena schemes were introduced by the YSRCP government, he added.
All major election assurances were fulfilled within one year by the YSRCP government, he added.
District Collector N Bharat Gupta said with the feedback of the people, the government will bring more better schemes for people's benefit. He said every day officials will collect information about two important schemes implemented by the government.
MLA Arani Srinivasulu, Srikalahasti MLA Biyapu Madhu Sudhan Reddy, Tamballapalli MLA P Dwarakanath Reddy also spoke in the meeting. JCs Veerabramaiah, Chandromuli, ZP CEO Kodanda Rami Reddy and other officials were present.
