Bade Govinda Rao’s family members handing over Vaikuntha Ratham to Rotary Golden Jubilee Club in Kakinada on Saturday

Kakinada: Bade Govinda Rao handed over Vaikuntha Ratham worth Rs 8 lakh to Rotary Governor M Veerabhadra Reddy here on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, Veerbhadra Reddy said that the services of Rotary Golden Jubilee Club was an inspiration. He felicitated the family members of Govinda Rao who came forward to provide a special vehicle.

He said that Rotary Club, Kakinada, Rotary Central Club and Rotary Golden Jubilee Club together have taken special care in the management of the cemetery, in a bid to dispel public misconceptions about the cemetery. Munjuluri Vishweshwara Rao, chairman of the club's image committee, commended his efforts in identifying and promoting the donor.

Bade Govinda Rao said the effort to create and implement the Vaikuntharatha project for the last three years has been fulfilled today with Rotary. He urged the Rotary to come forward for the development of the burial ground in Jagannathpuram.
