Arora PG College Anubhuti-2019Aim to be job-givers, students exhorted

Baghlingampally: A senior scientist of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Dr ALV Kumar Reddy, said one should have discipline, determination, focus, proper time management and concentration to achieve the set goals.

He was speaking at anniversary celebrations of Arora PG college 'Anubhuti-2019' held at the TSRTC Kala Bhavan on Sunday. Dr Reddy formally started the programme by lighting the lamp in the presence of Chairman of Arora Institutions Nimmaturi Raja Babu, secretary Ramesh Babu and Director of Arora College Dr M Madhavi.

Dr Kumar advised the students to listen to the lectures delivered by lecturers attentively and clarify their doubts, if any, immediately. Students should also adopt a systematic plan to score high marks in the examinations, he added. Raja Babu said that students should aspire to become entrepreneurs who provide jobs to many others, rather than seeking jobs themselves. He advised the students to focus more on communication skills in order to succeed in life.

Dr Madhavi expressed her happiness that the NAAC has recognised the college as one of the top-six colleges in the State. She said that the college has secured four top ranks in the University. Explaining about the name of the event, she said that theme had been named as 'Anubhuti-2019' as the event was organized with the intent of bringing alive the memories of students of last three years.

Prizes were distributed to the meritorious students. Director of the college placement department Dr Raghu, Naga Prabhakar, teaching staff of MBA and MCA and others took active role in conducting the event. Later, a cultural programme was organized in which several students participated.
