Noted pediatrician felicitated

Secretariat: Telangana Health Minister Eatela Rajender felicitated noted pediatrician Dr Markandeyulu in a programme jointly organised by Mahatma Phule Foundation Trust and MBC Times at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister lauded the doctor for his services to children suffering from thalassemia. The minister praised Dr Markandeya, who organised more than 100 blood donation camps for children affected with thalassemia, for his humanitarian efforts to save children.

The health minister said that the State government has been striving to provide better medical services to people. Among those who were present on the occasion were president of national MBC welfare association Surya Rao, Dr Annapurna, Rajesh, Dr Koti Reddy and others.
