Telangana Mazdoor Union stages protest at Bus Bhavan
Musheerabad: Telangana Mazdoor Union (TMU) staged protest demanding TSRTC to return the employee savings into CCS account, before Bus Bhavan here on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, working president of TMU Thomas Reddy demanded the TSRTC to transfer Rs 500 crore that it has taken from employee savings into CCS account.
He accused TSRTC management of running the organisation with the amount saved by its employees. He demanded to pay Rs 45 crore to employees as interest for their deposits as the families of TSRTC employees and labour are facing severe financial difficulties.
Thomas Reddy warned TSRTC that the union would continue its fight until the amount taken by TSRTC from CCS is returned to employees. He clarified that the protest was staged only to fight against injustice done to the TSRTC employees rather than for union elections. A large number of RTC employees took part in the protest.
