Film director among 8 held for gambling

Hyderabad: The Central Zone Task Force officials on Tuesday night carried out raids at a gaming house in Boiguda under Gandhinagar police station limits here. The police arrested eight persons including a film director who were playing three cards game by betting money.

The police seized Rs 34, 500 net cash, two cell phones, playing cards from the possession of organiser Syed Nissar, K Vikramaditya Reddy (film director), B Govind Raju, G Laxman, B Naveen, B Kishore, C Nagaraju, L Durga Prasad. The accused along with the seized material were handed over to SHO, Gandhinagar police station for further action.
