One arrested for selling Chinese manja

​Hyderabad: Central Zone Task Force sleuths arrested one on charges of illegally procuring, stocking and selling banned Chinese manja for kite flying on Monday. They seized Rs 20,000 worth synthetic nylon Chinese manja babins from the possession of the accused.

According to Task force sleuths, accused V Pandurangam (46, cloth merchant), resident of Musheerabad is running a kites shop at Ramnagar in Musheerabad since two years. Unhappy with his earnings, the accused hatched a plan to sell banned “Chinese Dors” which has a huge demand during the Sankranti Festival.
