Job fraudsters gang busted; 2 arrested
Hyderabad: The Central Zone Task Force officials on Thursday nabbed two persons who cheated innocent youth in the name of providing jobs in various multi-national companies.
The accused cheated around 70 unemployed youth and collected an amount of nearly Rs 2 crore. They issued fake offer and joining letters to them.
Police arrested Reshma Begum (26), Shaik Naheem (22) and seized net cash of Rs 1.25 lakh and two cell phones from the possession of the accused. Efforts are on to nab the absconding accused Mohammed Ali (28) and Mohammed Jaffer.
According to Task Force officials, the accused used to set up temporary job consultancies and used to contact consultants or individuals through tele calling and gave assurance that they provide jobs in renowned MNCs through backdoor and collected an amount of Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2 lakh from each candidate.
Accused Ali and Reshma used to lure the candidates through phone calls and collecting the documents and gave fake offer letters with the help of Jaffer. After giving offer letter they collected the amount from candidates with the help of Shaik Naheem.
The miscreants after providing fake offer letters to the candidates, used to instruct them to attend the interviews of said companies and promised them that they will manage the office staff of the company and appoint them through backdoor.
The arrested accused along with seized properties were handed over to SR Nagar Police for further action.
