4 held for theft; gold chain, bike, cell phones recovered in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: The Central Zone Task Force officials on Friday busted a robbery gang and arrested three people and one boy in conflict with law. The police recovered 1.5 tolas gold chain, a bike and four cell phones from the possession of the accused.
According to Task force officials, accused Ch Uday Kiran (20), B Rishikesh Yadav (20), both degree students, Chauhan Rahul (21), a medicine supplier and one boy in Conflict with Law, on the intervening night of July 13 and July 14 obstructed the complainant and his friends in drunken state and attacked them.
The complainant and his friends were proceeding on two bikes from Moosapet towards Basheer Bagh when the accused obstructed them and verbally abused them.
But the complainant and his friends did not respond and moved ahead towards Basheer Bagh. When they reached Khairatabad Railway gate road the accused chased them in drunken condition and attacked them and robbed 1.5 tola gold chain and cell phones.
Based on the victim's complaint, Saifabad Police registered a robbery case under section 394 IPC and considering the seriousness and sensitivity of the issue, the Central Zone Task Force team apprehended the accused.
All the four accused are addicted to bad habits and move on one bike without number plate during late nights. The accused along with the seized property were handed over to Saifabad Police for further action.
