Book exhibition from today

 Vijayawada: All arrangements have been made by the Vijayawada Book Festival Society for the 29th book exhibition at PWD Grounds in the city. The exhibition is scheduled to continue up to January 15. The society is conducting the exhibition in the name of ‘Navyandhra Pustaka Sambaraalu’, said the society representatives, K Lakshmaiah and Vijayakumar.

Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, they said that Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu would inaugurate the exhibition and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would participate in the inaugural programme. “Several national and international book publishers and sellers were expected to participate in the exhibition,” they said.

They further said that the exhibition timings are from 2 pm to 9 pm. The society made arrangements to conduct cultural programmes and debates. Prominent personalities are to be felicitated on this occasion. NTR Trust also announced its support to the event. The work for setting up of stalls was completed on Sunday, the officials informed.
