Donakonda will become industrial hub: Siddha
Darsi: Minister for Forests, Environment, Science and Technology Siddha Raghavarao announced that Donakonda and its surrounding areas are about to become industrial hub very soon. He participated in the Janmabhoomi Maa Vooru programme in Padamati Venkatapuram village in Donakonda mandal and Bayyavaram in Kurichedu mandal on Friday.
The minister explained how the state government has waived the farmers’ loans, provided capital fund to DWCRA women and enhanced pensions in the despite a dismal financial condition. He lauded the CM for his efforts on the state’s development to be the best in the country.
The minister said that the Darsi assembly constituency was developed with funds of Rs 1750 crores in the last 3.5 years and was still sanctioning funds for various developmental activities. “The chief minister is keen on developing the western area of Prakasam district and is making plans for making Donakonda an industrial hub.” He announced that industrial activity would commence within three months in the area. He later distributed assets, ration cards, pensions and insurance claims to the beneficiaries.
The former MLA, Narapusetty Paparao, Darsi AMC chairman Subbarao, Darsi constituency special officer B Ravi and other officials and public representatives also participated in the programmes.
