Guntur: MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy has said the government will sanction houses to all eligible in the city and urged the homeless to apply for houses under housing for all schemes.

He addressed the Janmabhoomi- Maa Vooru programme held at the 43 division in Guntur city on Wednesday. Speaking on this occasion, he said that the government had given permission to construct 10,000 houses in the city out of which 5,000 houses were under construction. “The aim of the government is to sanction houses to all eligible,” he said that the government would sanction pensions and white ration cards to all eligible. He stressed on the need to keep surroundings clean.

GMC Commissioner Challa Anuradha said that the recently released GMC app, Puraseva to render better services to the people and urged the people to use this app. She sought cooperation of the people to get good rank in the Swachh Survekshan. Janmabhoomi- Maa Vooru state observer Nazeer said that in spite of a budet deficit, the government was implementing welfare schemes.
