550 spectacles distributed to the needy
Rajamahendravaram: Kesavabhatla Charitable Trust (KCT) distributed free eye glasses to 550 beneficiaries at VAMBAY Colony in 16th division here on Monday. The spectacles were given to those who had been examined in recent free eye camp.
Participating in the programme, Godavari Urban Development Authority Chairman Ganni Krishna congratulated KCT chairman Kesavabhatla SrinivasaRao for conducting free medical camps for the benefit of poor people in society. He asked him to continue the service to society in future also and assured to extend necessary help in this regard. Satisfaction comes only from the service to the needy and underlined the need to help the poor.
RSR Company chairman Rankireddy Subba Raju asked the KCT management to extend help also to differently abled and assured to extend his help in this regard. KCT chairman Kesavabhatla Srinivasa Rao said so far 32,550 eye glasses were distributed and it was planned to expand the social service activities to the poor.
Trust members SJ Chandran, CV Ramana, A Nagaraju, TTEs AK Mohinuddin, Satishm Ravi, Gayatri Prasad, Rama Krishna, electrical assistant divisional engineer Ramanujam, organisers Mohan Naidu, DN Reddy, advocate GS Reddy and others were present.
