Cloth carry bags distributed in the Rajamahendravaram city

 Rajamahendravaram: Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary distributed cloth bags in the city here on Tuesday, under the aegis of Kesavabhatla Charitable Trust (KCT), which is participating in social service activities. The bags were distributed to the students and others.

Later, KCT chairman Kesavabhatla Srinivasa Rao said that the cloth bags were distributed as usage of plastic was banned by Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC).  As part of it, KCT distributed cloth bags to bring awareness among the people in the city.

Plastic became a health hazard and underlined the need to avoid usage of plastic fully. The KCT is ready to organise meetings to bring awareness among people on the disadvantages of plastic and appealed to the people not to use plastic.
