MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary distributes CM Relief Fund cheques

Rajamahendravaram: Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary distributed cheques worth Rs 20.7 lakh to 14 beneficiaries towards medical expenses under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund here on Wednesday. He also handed over a cheque for Rs 5 lakh under Chandrana Bheema Scheme to a widow of Lalachervu.

Later, he said so far an amount of Rs 10 crore was given to 1,666 beneficiaries for medical aid, in rural Assembly constituency, under CM Relief Fund. The state government released an amount of Rs 1,000 crore under CM Relief Fund across the state.

A cheque for Rs 10 lakh from CM Relief Fund was also given to a 10-year-old boy of Kadiyapulanka. The boy is suffering with liver problem and treatment requires Rs 20 lakh. The government was extending free medical aid up to Rs 2.5 lakh under NTR Arogya Seva to the people. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was extending financial assistance to the needy under CM Relief Fund without any delay. Naidu was very much particular to build a healthy society, he added. He appealed to the people to avail this amount judiciously.
