Artisans urged to avail Adarana-2
Rajamahendravaram: Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary has said that the state government is supplying implements at nominal price to the artisans.
Addressing the beneficiaries in Adarana-2 programme held at Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram here on Thursday, he said the government was collecting 10 percent of the total cost of the implements from the beneficiaries.
The government was also supplying nets and motor bikes to fishermen and asked the officials to initiate steps to achieve targets relating to Christian minorities.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was also taking steps for the wellbeing of most backward classes, he added.
MLC Adireddy Appa Rao said Naidu was very much particular to eradicate poverty in the state by executing various welfare schemes.
Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai advised the respective people to submit their applications through online to get benefit through Adarana-2 scheme.
Godavari Urban Development Authority chairman Ganni Krishna underlined the need to divide the city into three divisions instead of treating 50 divisions as one division. Because of this, many were not getting benefits, he pointed out.
RMC Commissioner Sumit Kumar advised the beneficiaries to avail this opportunity judiciously.
