MLA distributes implements

  Rajamahendravaram: Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary distributed Rs 21 lakh worth of implements to 91 beneficiaries under Adarana-2 at VL Puram here on Thursday.

Later, he said so far in rural Assembly constituency Rs 40.3 crore was given to 3,741 beneficiaries as against Rs 48 crore to 3,911 beneficiaries under Pedarikam Pai Gelugu programme. Under CM Relief Fund, an amount of Rs 10.5 crore also given to 1,666 persons in the constituency, he added.

Steps were taken to supply drinking water to all villages in the constituency with an estimated cost of Rs 150 crore, he said.

Sub-Collector CM Saikanth Varma, special officer NSM Lakshmi, mandal development offices AR Reddy, Ratna Kumari, Tahsildar Posaiah and others were present.
