Awareness session on ethics for students held
Ongole: The third year electronics and communications, civil and mechanical engineering students at the QIS Institute of Technology, Ongole were participated in an awareness programme on ‘morals and ethics,’ announced the college secretary and correspondent, Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy and president of the Nidamanuri Educational Society, Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao.
The resource person for Stock Exchange Board of India and psychologist Ch Srinivasa Rao spoke to the students on ‘moral and ethics’. He said that the moral and ethics has great importance in the world and the students must follow the values which will ultimately help the country in the future.
He said that the recruiting agencies and companies were also looking for the moral and ethical values in the candidates before offering any job. He explained that the elders tried to inculcate the moral and ethics into society through the good stories and quotes.
The psychologist answered many questions by the students and said that sessions like this can help them learn the social values along with the textbook knowledge. The college principal Dr CV Subbarao also participated in the programme overseen by the HoDs of the ECE, Mechanical and Civil Engineering departments.
