The SFI district secretary, M Someswara Rao alleged that Sri Chaitanya, Narayana and other private colleges had started Intermediate classes in the name of bridge course to Class X passed students much ahead of starting the first year Intermediate admission process.

The institutions were also conducting senior Intermediate classes between 7 am to 8 am. He recalled that the education department officials, the Regional Inspection Officer (RIO) did not take any action in spite of a complaint on the same.

The recognition of these institutions should be cancelled, failing which the SFI would lay a siege to the office of Director of Colligate Education. He also demanded that the government ready textbooks by June for the students of government schools.
